Eyes-Road was there: back on the SILMO Paris 2018!
80 000 m2 of exhibition space, 965 exhibitors, 1,548 brands and more than 37,000 visitors in four days, Silmo Paris 2018, held at the Exhibition Center from September 28 to October 1 has, once again, been a great success. Back on the highlights of this edition we were once again pleased to participate!
SILMO Paris 2018: the future in sight
This year, the eyes were on the future with the creation of a FUTUROLOGY space, highlighting not only technological innovations but also the products and services of tomorrow around, especially , of four themes :

- and 3D printing.
Exhibitions and scientific symposium
The Silmo also gave pride of place to knowledge and culture, by proposing an original exhibition entitled " Two centuries of history of eyewear " thanks to the association of the museums of Oyonnax and Morez.
And for the 9 th year in a row, the SILMO ACADEMY organized a scientific symposium bringing together over a hundred opticians around the theme " Vision and Growth from 0 to 20 years old".
An opportunity for them to learn about the development of visual function.
Silmo d'Or: Eclecticism is rewarded
But the SILMO is also an opportunity to leave with the famous statuette, the Golden Silmo , whose eyes merge with the wings of an elegant creature.
This year, Marni's " ME 2623 " wins the Fashion Optical Frame category.
In the Sunglasses Creator category, Impressio wins with the 609 Vortex . [ =]
For the Technological Innovation category, Amy's McLaren Ultimate Vision goes back to the statuette, while Nathalie Blanc is awarded the Special Jury Prize with " Suzanne " and the Première prize. Class with Thierry Lasry with " Shorty "
