Eyes-Road EEIG confirms its ambitions

It is with constancy and determination that the EEIG Eyes-Road continues and amplifies its actions towards all the actors of the optics. His ambition? reach more and more EDI users, strengthen the flow of its platform to facilitate the exchange of data and documents between optical professionals.

SATISFY EVERY SECTOR

Offered to any actor wishing to benefit from all the services available on the Eyes-Road platform, the " Adhérents " offer concerns manufacturers, central purchasing agencies, retailers and publishers. To date, the EEIG brings together 95 members, including:
– 8 purchasing centers and banners
– 25 software publishers
– 10 contact laboratories
– 27 eyewear .
– 21 glassmakers.
– 4 VPCistes.

The " Liberté " and " Liberté + " offers, intended for industrialists, make the distribution of catalogs and the reception of electronic orders simple and effective. ; in a fast, transparent and secure way. You do not have to be a member of the Groupement to benefit from one of these offers. Six months after the launch of these two offers, more than fifty manufacturers have subscribed to one of them (80% of the companies contacted).

By the end of the first half of 2016, more than 1,120 catalogs were available on the Eyes-Road platform.
Eyes-Road's will
– Convince more eyewear operators to use its platform through the " Freedom " and " Freedom + " offers.
– Encouraging industrialists to distribute more catalogs.
– Multiply the number of downloadable catalogs from its platform

For opticians, the EEIG launched in 2014 the " Autonomie " offer. Free, it allows to download electronic catalogs of suppliers of their choice from their software store.
To date, more than 60% of the 9,800 opticians connected to the platform download the catalogs. This is an increase of 35% compared to 2015.

Since the launch of the " Autonomy " offer, Eyes-Road has registered two to three new optician registrations every day on its catalog distribution platform ( IDDIC).

LES MEANS OF ITS AMBITION

A new governance
In June 2016, on the occasion of the last Supervisory Board and General Assembly, the Eyes-Road EEIG endorsed the mandates of its new President and Vice-President
– Nicolas SERIES, Chairman and CEO of Carl Zeiss Vision France, is elected as Chairman of the EEIG.
– Fabrice MASSON, CEO of the Centrale des Opticiens, is elected Vice-Chairman of the EEIG
This new governance is a joy for the members of the EEIG and its management. The commitment of Nicolas SERIES and Fabrice MASSON in their new functions will allow to multiply the momentum initiated by Eyes-Road to promote the EDI on the optical market.

Appreciated trainings
The Eyes-Road webinars initiated a few years ago are still very successful. This innovative connected training solution has become a regular rendez-vous for users of the Eyes-Road platform.

An expanded communication
In addition to the four times a year publication of two newsletters: " Idea exchange " with of more than 3,600 opticians and " Optics Exchange " with the industrials, central purchasing, signs, publishers of software and distributors, Eyes-Road enriches its "Blog" every week ( www.eyes-road.com ), attracting more than 1,000 visitors per month.
Finally, " Social Eyes-Road " is the last line of communication favored by the EEIG. More than 1,200 direct professional contacts follow the Groupement, EDI and sector-related information on social networks

Enhanced quality of service
Eyes-Road improves the quality of service quality of its services by mobilizing on the integration of photos of products in catalogs to meet the demand expressed by opticians (several surveys conducted in 2015 and 2016 confirm this need) and some brands. With the help of manufacturers to integrate photos into their catalogs and publishers to ensure the necessary developments, product photos will be available in opticians' software very soon.
