The Eyes-Road EEIG mobilizes and brings together all the players in the field of optics around computerized data exchanges.
The European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG) Eyes-Road is the leading exchange and dematerialized transactions on the optical market. Since the beginning of the year, he has intensified his communication with opticians increasingly convinced of the interest of EDI. At the same time, he has set up an online training solution for users of the translation platform, hosting and distribution of IDDIC electronic catalogs.
Since 2012, fifty manufacturers, including eyewear manufacturers, have been using the 'Freedom' offer, which allows them to publish their catalogs in a fast, transparent and secure way to the OPTOv11 standard.
At the end of 2013, the "Autonomy" offer allows opticians point of sale and through their management software connected to the platform, to select and download the standardized vendor catalogs. To date, more than one optician for a day enrolls in the IDDIC platform (500 connected opticians) while the electronic controls of opticians have increased by 20%.
To share its news and intensify its information beyond the regular edition of newsletters "Exchange of Ideas" for opticians and "Exchange Optics" for power plants, signboards and software companies, Eyes -Road is now present on social networks: Facebook , Twitter , LinkedIn and YouTube, resulting in a significant increase in opticians' connections to the IDDIC platform. In addition, video testimonials will be streamed on the Eyes-Road YouTube channel.
Webinars: Connected Trainings
To accompany the October 2014 launch of the new version IDDIC platform , Eyes-Road has designed free online training for all users. These "webinars" (webinars) consist of a demonstration / training of the application, via a screen sharing of about 30 minutes and followed by half an hour of questions and answers by chat. Fifteen sessions have already been organized, others are scheduled in May, September and November with the following themes:
● loading and distribution of electronic catalogs
● management of multi-format electronic catalogs
● management of electronic catalog sending campaigns.
They are hosted by Denis Boixel, Eyes-Road Technical Support Manager. He reports, " Our audience was very satisfied with this initiative " and " The content is concise, effective and allows to become familiar with the tool in less than an hour of time ."
