Well Seen, "Eyes-Road Launches New Sell Out Service"
Article published in Bien Vu since November 2017.
Since its creation, the EEIG Eyes-Road has been aiming to facilitate the exchange of between the different players in the optical sector. On the occasion of the Silmo, its Managing Director, Philippe Cellier announced the arrival of a new service eagerly awaited by opticians and eyewear manufacturers: the message Sell Out. Thus, opticians are now able, via the platform, to transmit their actual sales information. The objective is not necessarily an automatic restocking by the supplier. On the other hand, it can use these data for statistical purposes, to analyze trends and to be able to anticipate productions. For the optician, the tool allows for faster delivery. So far the only return of the stores was the sales representatives, with a lag of 12 to 18 months. Today, real-time information allows more efficiency for all stakeholders.
On the other hand, the EEIG, which has 88 members and a turnover in cover of 6% in 2016, continues to develop its training axis via webinars with the users of the "Freedom" and "Freedom +" offers (manufacturers wishing to distribute their catalogs and receive electronic orders) and "Autonomy" (opticians who wish to download free catalogs of suppliers). Finally, Eyes-Rood has invested heavily in social networks to communicate more with professionals on the news of the group, the EDI and the sector.
