Eyes-Road SAS will distribute the products of the EDI Optique Association in the autumn

The Board of Directors of EEIG Eyes-Road and the EDI Optique Association have approved an operational merger whose purpose is the distribution of EDI Optique services by Eyes-Road SAS. The two players together represent more than one hundred players in the sector, ie more than 80% of the suppliers' turnover and 90% of the distribution.

Following a presentation of the project by Benjamin GUERIN President and Philippe CELLIER CEO of Eyes-Road, in the presence of Thierry PEYRAUD and Jean-Christophe LEROY, respectively President and Program Director of the EDI Association Optique, the Board of Directors of EEIG Eyes-Road, as before it, that of the Association of standardization, approved, without reserve, an operational rapprochement between the two entities whose purpose is the establishment of an agreement concerning the distribution of the services of the EDI Optique Association by Eyes-Road SAS

EDI Optique and Eyes-Road together represent more than one hundred actors of the whole sector, ie more than 80% of the turnover suppliers and 90% of the distribution.

The re-anchoring of the EDI Optics Association

Such a rapprochement has its origin in the will expressed by the leaders of the EDI Optique Association. to re-anchor the Association on its original missions, namely:

● continue the development and production of national and international standards to facilitate electronic exchanges between optical companies,
● strengthen the promotion of use of data exchanges between industry players.

Specifically, the Association chooses to outsource the promotion and sales of its operational services by entrusting Eyes-Road SAS the distribution of its services for give greater priority to the strategic development of standardization

The distribution of these services by Eyes-Road SAS will be operational as of the fourth quarter of 2013 and will be launched at the next SILMO.
