Trade shows of optics
The field of optics-eyewear is very rich in events and the autumn 2016 is no exception to the rule. This year, hundreds of optical trade shows are scheduled around the world, to the delight of visitors, who will rush by the thousands to attend. We have selected the main ones, in France and in the world.
The most famous salons
In France , SILMO is one of the largest exhibitions dedicated to optics . Every year in Paris, it brings together thousands of professionals who come together to learn about the latest novelties in eyewear and optics. We were there last year ( remember )! This year, it will take place from September 24 to 26, 2016 and will be under the sign of reading. On the program: stands on all themes, but also conferences, workshops and the presentation of the SILMO d'Or. See you in september at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center !
Another reference trade fair for professionals, but this time abroad: the Tokyo IOFT . It lasts three days (from 6 to 8 October 2016 ) and you will learn all about the latest trends in eyewear : brands, shapes and colors.
The most advanced salons
Professionals who want to learn more about optoelectronics and photonics will not miss Photonex , the UK's largest exhibition of optical technologies . Topics that concern manufacturers, distributors, system integrators, but also universities. The Photonex will be held in Coventry, England on October 12 and 13, 2016.
Another photonics exhibition: the Laser World of Photonics in Bangalore, India . In particular, it enables international companies in the optical industry to present their products in a country where this market is booming. It will be from September 21st to 23rd, 2016.
The optics, but not that
France is also organizing Enova Paris , another major trade show dedicated to optics, but this time open to the general public. More broadly, this show focuses on electronics and optical technologies , presenting a wide range of technical innovations. It also affects other converging areas: automotive, aeronautical, medical and even military . On your calendars, this year it takes place on September 14th and 15th, 2016.
Other salons dedicated to well-being in general are interested in optics. Notable examples include the Fühl dich wohl in Böblingen, Germany , which also covers nutrition, naturopathy, medicine and sports . The visitors, professionals or simple visitors, will find advice and opinions on health issues. This show will be held on October 29 and 30, 2016.
