This is one of the key events in the optical sector: the Congress of Optometry and Contactology will take place this year on January 28 and 29, 2018. It will bring together more than 600 exhibitors in a new place, the Belfry of Montrouge. Opticians and optometrists, we give you all the right reasons to go for a ride!

What is the Congress of Optometry and Contactology?

The Congress of Optometry and Contactology is organized every year by the Association of Optometrists of France , to bring together all optical professionals including optometrists , around conferences, seminars and workshops practice. This year, it will take place over two days, on January 28th and 29th at the Belfry of Montrouge , in the 92. A novelty, since it took place so far at the Cité Universitaire de Paris .

This event is a must-attend event for the optical industry , and many attendees come every year to book a booth, attend meetings, or discover the latest innovations in their industry. Highlights of the 2018 edition

The scientific program is also very innovative. Innovation against myopia , against presbyopia , or cornea transplants : all these topics will be discussed during the two days of the Congress of Optometry and Contact . The organizers have also chosen to evoke the hottest growth channels of the moment, such as the optical concepts dedicated to children and the treatment of dry eyes .

Another novelty: there will be two gala evenings this year . One for young professionals and the other for the most experienced visitors, which will allow them to dine with conference speakers.
